There are currently two dental benefits in place.

The Canada Dental Benefit (CDB) is currently open for applications and is intended to help parents pay for dental care for children 12 and under who are not covered by a dental plan.  Learn more about the CDB and apply.

The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a new program that is gradually opening up applications to Canadians based on age with full access for available in 2025.  It is for Canadian residents who do not have access to dental insurance and have an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000.  Learn more about the CDCP and apply.
